Heat Pump and A/C System Summer Check-Up Includes:

 

  • Inspect indoor coil (To clean coil there will be an extra charge)
  • Lubricate moving parts
  • Check refrigerant charge
  • Check reversing valve switchover
  • Check compressor amp draw
  • Check outdoor fan amp draw
  • Check capacitors for proper tolerances
  • Measure crankcase heater amp draw
  • Wash outdoor coil, if needed (Extra charges may apply if coil is very dirty)
  • Inspect contactor for pitting or burnt contacts
  • Check suction line insulation for deterioration
  • Check Thermostat for accuracy & calibrate, if necessary (analog only)
  • Tighten line voltage connections
  • Check drain pan and drain lines

Gas Pack or Single Gas Furnace Fall Check-Up Includes:

  • Clean burner and pilot assemblies
  • Check for visible cracks or rot holes in the heat exchanger
  • Check the pilot thermocouple for burning
  • Check vent piping for integrity
  • Test the electronic ignition and lockout
  • Test the fan
  • Test the limit switch
  • Burner air adjustments, if needed
  • Measure manifold gas pressure & input gas pressure
  • Measure temperature rise across heat exchanger
  • Carbon monoxide test on outlet side of furnace
  • Set the heat anticipator, if needed (only on non-digital thermostat)
  • Examine the draft diverter
  • Lubricate the fan motor
